- Both participants must be 18 years of age
- Present a valid driver's license, or certified birth certificate
- Present a social security card, if not on driver's license
- If not a United States Citizen, you must present a valid passport
- If either of you have been divorced or widowed, you will need to know the exact date that the divorce was final, or date of death. If the bride has had a name change in her divorce and has not had her named changed on her driver's license, she will need to provide a certified copy of her divorce degree
- There is no blood test
- There is no waiting period
- License must be used within 30 days of issuance
- License can be used same day as applied for
- Fee for out of state residents is $38.50 cash or $40.50 Visa or MasterCard.
- Fee for in state residents is $98.50 cash or $100.50 Visa or MasterCard. The $60.00 fee will be waived if applicants complete a four hour premarital course and present a certificate of completion, which can be obtained through our office.
- Both participants must appear in person to get marriage certificate
- If a minor child is interested in applying for a marriage license, you will need to contact the office at one of the below numbers for specifics.

When you book your wedding and pay your deposit, bride and groom will receive a confirmation package including maps to these locations. Sevierville - Court House, 125 Court Avenue Suite 202E Monday through Thursday 8: am until 4:30 pm Friday 8:00 am until 6:00 pm
Gatlinburg - Shilling Center, 405 Reagan Drive Monday and Friday 8:30 am until 4:00 pm Wednesday 8:30 am until 12:00 noon Saturday 9:00 am until 1:00 pm
Pigeon Forge - 225 Pine Mountain Road Saturday only - 9:00 am until 5:00 pm
